Tiny Hot Dogs: A Memoir in Small Bites by Mary Giuliani, win a FREE copy!

Mary G’s book, Tiny Hot Dogs, A Memoir in Small Bites, will have you laughing and crying all at the same time. If you happened to grow up in the NYC Tri-state area, you will love it even more. Growing up on Long island in a second generation Italian-Catholic family, but in a 99% Jewish neighborhood, Mary credits the start of her love for tiny hot dogs to the 178 Bar/Bat Mitzvahs she attended In 1986. She continues to bedazzle her readers with other hysterical tales from childhood and college and invites you to travel with her throughout her career. Her grit shines through early on as she paved her way into the catering field answering a resounding yes! to every interview question for her first job, regardless of her experience or lack of!

The book is full of self-deprecating humor, starting with Mary referring to her younger self as Macchio Kahlo.  Kahlo as in Frida, thanks to the unibrow she sported as a gawky, lanky kid and Macchio for Ralph Macchio, one of her childhood loves, who else? Her stories of infertility and the struggles she had are brutally honest. Spoiler alert, that ends on a happy note. You will fall in love with her extended family, husband, daughter and a celeb or two along the way. As a bonus, she even shares some of her favorite catering recipes like pizza in a cup, Italian challa grilled cheese, mini corn dogs, pastrami spring rolls, her mom Nance’s meatball recipe and of course, pigs in a blanket!
